Your story is achingly beautiful. I was blessed with 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I get offended when I see the children's books I gave them in the donate pile. Unless you are a writer or lover of books, many underestimate the power of children's books as the very tool that taught us how to read. Your memory of your mother reading to you deserves to be told and your children's books showcased in the creative way you found.
