I never heard the term “bagelled” but if it’s a thing, this American born Jew does it. Even in New York City where there are many Jews, I am compelled to smile and acknowledge someone speaking Hebrew to show we, as a minority, share a common link. After all, we’re only 0.2% of the world population.
